| New Member, New Awards 02/06/01 |
RFC266 2nd Lt Flipper has joined the squadron as a member of 'A' flight!
Since this leaves 'A' flight with a full complement of 4 pilots, Lt Mahoney
has accepted the rank of Captain commanding 'A' flight.
On the completion and publishing of the full squadron paints, it is with
great pleasure that the squadron announces the award of the MC to Lt Brigstock.
A war with JG13 has been announced, RFC266 to fly in combination with RAF28. |

| First Training Night 25/04/01 |
On the 25th April the squadron had its first training night on the PJ666
server. Flying from Bethuene, 'A' flight twice lured single huns into diving
on them, both of which were shortly seen to crash on the British side of
the lines. Venturing into enemy territory, they entered a vicious dogfight
which eventually broke up by mutual consent without casualties (the server
went down!).
Resuming in the RAF56 server, Lt Brigstock fought a desperate single-handed action against JGS4 in which no less than four of the enemy fell to his guns before he eventually succumbed. Lt Brigstock finished the evening on the server score sheet for kills per mission. |

| Inauguration 100401 |
RFC 266 was formed in April 2001. The inaugural flight took place on the
10th of April, when Mahoney and Brigstock gained the first of many kills
for the squadron and began as the squadron intends to continue by establishing
266 on the server score board. Lord Jarvis of Crowborough joined the squadron
on the 17th of April.
The squadron intends to become involved in on-line wars and steadily increase
in size. |
