2nd Lieutenant   Comments 2nd Lieutenant is the lowest officer (and hence flying) rank in the Royal Flying Corps. New members of the squadron will begin as a 2nd Lieutenant unless they have sufficient previous experience in Red Baron 3D to warrant beginning as a Lieutenant (this decision is at the discretion of the CO, RO and flight leaders). A 2nd Lieutenant shall receive promotion to Lieutenant when the squadron believes them to deserve it or when three active flying months have passed from their recruitment, whichever comes first.   Complement RFC 266 has a full active complement of 9 Lieutenants and 2nd Lieutenants, 3 per flight.   Rank Holders: Name Date of Commission Status
