Campaign Star   Criteria As 266 take part in campaigns such as the Great War or Historical War, in which they fly as 266 squadron or as another British squadron (in the case, for instance, of the AirWar), Campaign Stars will be awarded to participants. Thus if 266 fought in the Great War V, a GWV Star would be awarded to all involved.   History Two Campaign Stars, the 1914-15 Star and the 1915 Star, were awarded to participants in the conflicts of the early war. As it became apparent that the war would be far more that a yearly campaign, these were discontinued, and instead a War medal was awarded to all combatants from 1914 to 1920, to take into account the conflicts in Russia after the armistice.   Recipients:
